Okay. I work at Macey's Bakery in Pleasant Grove. I'm not one for cakes and cookies and such, but I found this recipe in a cook book recently and I wanted to try it. It's amazing!!! The Chocolate cake is so most and sweet. It's so good!!!
1 3/4 Cup Sugar
2/3 Cup Shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 Cup Flour
1 1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup Buttermilk
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 Cup hot water
Blend sugar and shortening together. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Sift together dry ingredients and alternate flour and buttermilk until mixed well. Mix hot water and cocoa and add last. Mix well 2 minutes. Heat over to 375 degrees. Bake 30 minutes.
And a great buttercream frosting!
1/4 cup Butter
1/4 cup Whipping Cream
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Cream butter until smooth, add whipping cream and vanilla and enough powdered sugar to make a smooth frosting.

Abigal Jane Holt
Abigal was born on December 8th at 2:50am after one hour and fifty minutes of labor. She weighed 5 lbs and 13 oz and was 18 inches long. At about eight o'clock that morning they realized that she had a blood sugar malfunction in her system. Little babies like her are sometimes born with a blood sugar immaturity. Their little bodies just don't know how to process sugar yet. So, she was checked into the NICU with an iv. They gave her 8 ml of sugar every hour and just kept testing her blood sugar levels. The next day they slowly turned her IV down as long as her blood sugar was above 60. So every three hours they'd poke her little foot and test her blood. Seriously a hard thing for a Mommy to watch. I left the hospital Thursday morning around eight and Abby came home Thursday night at seven. We're so excited for her to finally be here and so glad she's alright. Yay for such a precious blessing!

Moving?
Are we moving? Possibly.
Our land Lords own a place that is literally walking distance from work for both of us. It would save us so much money on gas. It's two bedrooms, has washer/dryer hook ups and a dishwasher for only one hundred more than what we're already paying. Plus, we can work as assistant managers and work off some of our rent. Which I'll probably do during Christmas-time or January if I'm feeling up to it.
We've been waiting for this place to open for months and now that it has we're so excited. We didn't think it was going to be open till after January so that's good news right! Not sure how excited I am about moving while being Seven months Pregnant. But I'm just hoping that all these promptings I'm getting are coming from the right source.
We find out tomorrow the verdict of that apartment and if we get to move into it. If that's the case, we have to sell our current contract....... oh boy.....

My first attempt at making rolls!
Sorry guys, it's sideways. So sunday, I decided that I was going to learn how to make rolls with Yeast. I've never ever used yeast before, so it was an adventure! Along with the fact that I felt awful all day long (abby had a growth spurt) and I was also extremely emotional crying everytime Jaron looked at me weird or something. So that's how they turned out! I'm so excited. Jaron tested and approved!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!
So this is my little girl's hind quarters. Yep, it's a little girl..... =D
Her name is going to be Abigal Jane Holt. At the ultrasound of finding out who this little person was going to be, I noticed that every time Jaron talked she would move her head around a lot more than normal. Her arms and legs would move as well. At first I didn't really know what she was doing, but the more I watched it I made the connection that she was trying to find her daddy. I have a big feeling she's going to be a daddy's girl. Jaron's very excited as am I. Abby is currently six to seven inches long, with her feet down by my bladder and her head on my left side. She weighs ten ounces. YAY! I knew it was going to be a girl!!! We're excited!!!!!!

Daddy scared baby
Jaron and I have this thing where we like to hide behind corners of the house and try to scare people. Well, the other day as I was opening the door of the bathroom, Jaron screamed "rarrrr" really loud. It didn't scare me, but I felt the baby in my stomach jump up and then fall back down. After all of that, I felt really nauseous and almost threw up. Gotta love classic scares and junior just had his first one! YAY!

BABY!
So, this is our first peek at our little kiddo. We're excited to say that I'm pregnant. My due date is December 13th.... Merry Christmas to us! We're so excited about this new addition to our small family. I'm thirteen weeks and two days pregnant today. I'm officially done with the first trimester! I don't feel nearly as tired anymore. I'm not very good with getting on my blog and updating it. We don't have working internet where we live. Sad day! But we try what we can. There the kid is!!!!!!!!!

Inside Jokes...
Aren't inside jokes so interesting? Someone can say something and you have no idea what they are talking about, but someone else does? Well, Jaron and I have a very long running inside joke. It has to do with Yellow Nissan Xterra's.
On Thursday of last week Jaron and I did quite a bit of driving around with my sister Alicia. While driving around like everywhere, we counted 9 Yellow Nissan Xterra's....... By my house there is three Yellow Nissan Xterra's within a 1/2 mile radius. Friday night, Jaron and I found 5 Yellow Nissan Xterra's.
We have come to a conclusion that we're going to buy a Yellow Nissan Xterra someday just to fit in with the rest of the crowd since we see over half a dozen a day, or around that many.......
We really won't, but that would be funny if we did.
